Less is more

Tubemogul reports that on video sharing sites, 53% of viewers are gone after the first 60 seconds of a video.
Of course the content of a video plays a big part in how long people stay to watch, but the safe rule to follow is that less is often more. It’s also true that cutting a video down into a shorter version is often hard , which is why a lot of the web videos we see tend to run for much longer than they actually should for maximum viewer impact.

Off topic but as I'm based in Salford I cannot keep quiet about the latest development of the new, all singing, all dancing magic bullet called media city. I've just looked at the promo again and it tells me so much about cuddly toys but nothing about media city. I really want the development to be a success.
